Business Oriented Clubs
During my freshman year of high school, I decided to try out this economics club knowing nothing about it. Over the next four years and countless meetings, I learned the basic business models for varying types of business. How to manage your GDP while keeping your costs low. I was selected as the economist of the month twice for investing in the company that grew the most over that month. This was a huge accomplishment for me as the club was 80 members strong and I was able to use all the skills I had learned over the year and did my research on the companies I liked.
Volunteer Work/Extracurriculars
Fraternity - Zeta Beta Tau
Last year over a three month period we hosted 5 main fundraising events and 10 extra smaller fundraising events for Children's Hospital LA where we raised 10,000$. I was selected to be a part of our marketing team for the project where I came up with one of the main events and two side events. We took into consideration the time of day weather, peoples classes, best locations, etc. Knowing something I put together made an impact on someone else's life in a positive way is one of the best feelings in the world
